KMOM Installs New 2009-2010 Execuitve Officers
Keystone Mothers of Multiples recently installed new executive officers for the 2009-2010 year at a banquet held in May.
The new officers are: Natalie Foxwell-President; Jamie Stodolak; Vice President; Tara Jones-Treasurer; Heather Janovich- Recording Secretary; Candice Burns- Corresponsding Secretary. Linda Burkley was also recognized as Member of the Year for her outstanding service to the club.
KMOM is a non-profit service organization which was founded in 1959 and is comprised of mothers and expectant mothers of multiples throughout Central PA. They provide support and service to familes with twins, triplets and higher order multiples as well as conduct community based service projects.
KMOM Awards Annual Julie L. Gothel Memorial Scholarship
Keystone Mothers of Multiples recently awarded the annual Julie L Gothel Memorial Scholarship. This year's recipients are: Matthew Nease- son of member Marcy Nease; and Sara Ross - daughter of member Sandy Ross.
The scholarship is in memory of KMOM member Julie L Gothel who passed away suddenly in 1987. The scholarship is funded through proceeds raised at the bake sale portion of spring and fall clothing & equipment sales.
KMOM members and their immediate family members who meet eligibily guidelines may apply for the scholarship by February 15th of each year. Members may contact Natalie Foxwell for an application or more information. hjanovich@yahoo.com
